I'm sad to announce, that after a year of blogging, that this is the 39th and final post of Kelly's Country Squawk. After writing to a real, live audience for one year, I can say this blog has been one of the coolest things I've ever been a part of...especially trying to wiggle myself into the world of writing. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and read my posts! I've loved and appreciated every one of your comments!
Like everyone else, I have so many things, so many interests and passions that are pulling me in all different directions. I want to devote more of my time writing down the hundreds of children's stories that are constantly swirling around in my head.
And Chickens! There needs to be so many more silly stories for kids to read about chickens, I need to get started writing them pronto!
So many "new" chicken families have shared with me their experiences about starting their own chicken flocks this past spring, and I have loved hearing all the stories! I especially love hearing about the chicken math dilemma.....just how many chickens are too many chickens (the world will never know!). People really shouldn't ask me how many chickens they should start with. I'm now up to 25 chickens (or is that 27?) and have OFFICIALLY run out of room in The Chick Inn. Thankfully, my wonderful hubby is working on building me a much bigger coop this summer with a pinkie promise that I won't collect anymore birds. I "might" have crossed my fingers behind my back when making that pinkie promise, haha!

As I'm typing right now, one of my girls just laid an egg in the coop and I'm listening to her Egg Song. I'm singing my own Egg Song as I'm "laying" this one last post....Kelly's Country Squawk as been so much fun and has been highly rewarding for me personally. Thank you for crossing this Bucket List item off with me!
Thank you for reading my Country Squawk and God Bless!!!
Love,
Kelly
Well done my Sweetcakes❤️
