When I was growing up in Indiana in the 80s, occasionally my brother and I would spot one of these chicken limos driving down the road. We LOVED to find them! They made fancy, shiny limousines look even more spectacular and fun! I haven't seen one in a very long time, but with a quick Google search, I found an even more "modern" version of the Chicken Limo in Indianapolis and in Jacksonville, Florida. They are still available to rent today for proms, weddings, special events, etc. I'm not going to lie...I really, really, really would like to take a ride in one of these beauties! The Chicken Limo is going to the TOP of my Bucket List!
Has anyone been inside one of these beauties???

Although the budget does not allow for me to use a Chicken Limo for my weekly egg delivery service, I do have the next best thing. Meet Kelly's Butt Nugget Wagon...

She's dirty, she's stinky, she's bumpy, and sometimes she stops running in the middle of my egg deliveries so I have to carry all my eggs home, but I LOVE my ancient golf cart from the 80s (my cart and I are exactly the same age!). My chickens love it too! Every time I load my 20 dozen egg cartons into the egg cooler tied onto the back of the cart, I have to step over all 80 of my girls to load their butt nuggets (also called eggs). They are SO helpful...wink, wink.
One of my favorite things to do during the week is my Sunday evening egg deliveries around my neighborhood. Two years ago, I sent fliers to everyone living on my street advertising my weekly egg delivery service. Ten families became my "regular" customers, and I deliver them eggs for $5 per dozen. I've LOVED getting to know my neighbors better, especially the kids. Once the kids see my Butt Nugget Wagon, they want to hop on pretending to drive it all around their yard.
Thanks for hopping on the Butt Nugget Wagon this week and reading my Country Squawk,
Kelly
P.S. My next Christian Children's Book called Pastor Jay is coming out on September 1 on Amazon...in just a week! I'll send out a post once it goes live!
